Pada cara pembayaran peer to peer ini user deberikan kemudahan dalam pembayaran yang akan dilakukan antar sesama user yang sedang dalam suatu transaksi, sistem pembayaran ini harus menggunakan server yang sama antar user yang melakukan transaksi dan masing-masing user harus memiliki public key dan private key. Public key biasanya digunakan untuk server dan private key nya biasanya digunakan untuk user yang lain. Public key dan private key ini diberikan juga bertujuan untuk masalah security di internet. Contoh pembayaran yang megunakan peer to peer payment adalah dengan menggunakan CyberCash

Micropayment yang dimaksud adalah suatu metode untuk mendapatkan penghasilan tambahan memalui substansi-subtansi secara online. Dulu untuk substansi-substansi online disediakan secara bebas dan gratis.
Seiring dengan perkembangan jaman banyak sekali pemikiran-pemikiran untuk memanfaatkan substansi-substansi tersebut untuk mendapatkan penghasilan tambahan diantaranya dengan menyediakan iklan-iklan tertentu dan link-link tertentu yang akan dipungut biaya untuk tiap pengaksesan perperiode waktu.
